Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Koh Kood was absolutely stunning.
Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. This is the place that is definitely for people who want a very quiet serene holiday. The people on the island are so friendly. The main, I will say resorts but think of them as little oasis’s’ Are spread over only half of the island, with beautiful beaches so if you’re looking for any type of nightlife (except eating out) this is not the island for you. It’s beautiful and unspoilt. You can only get around with motorbike / scooters and open back vehicles. Both rooms were clean and nice (good beds, shower working). Breakfast is nice and the beach is just on the other side of the road. Location is also really good you go everything in walking distance restaurants, small grocery store, 2 beaches, Dive Center,.... It's also possible to go snorkeling.
