We loved the location and the pool, and the views from the restaurant, the beach & the room. Head in the Clouds rooftop bar was a lovely place to relax in the evenings. Also, Saifah & Wow at the reception desk were amazing! So helpful, friendly and courteous.

The room is stylish and comfy, with a great shower and a cool outdoor tub. The upper terrace? Perfect for watching dreamy sunsets. The staff were all super sweet — from check-in to check-out, everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and happy to chat or give tips. Breakfast is lovely. They welcome you with fresh fruit served in traditional bamboo baskets, and you can order hot savory dishes from the kitchen. There’s also a buffet with yogurt, fruit, cereals, bread, jams, and hot drinks that are always topped up — all served with genuine smiles and kindness. The pool is surrounded by lush greenery on one side and the sea on the other… just wow. It’s incredibly peaceful here. If you’re into calm, quiet vibes, this is your spot. There’s even a game area with a pool table, foosball, and books you can borrow. Honestly, it’s hard to describe the feeling, but it’s one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve ever been. The location is unreal! It’s totally away from the huddle and bustle, perfect for us and wanting to be in a tranquil escape. It was so peaceful listening to the waves and birds at night and mornings. It’s a small complex so always plenty of deck chairs and places to sit and not many guests. Feels like a prefect private place to have a break. The owners are so passionate about giving you a perfect stay. They collected us from the pier and dropped us off. When we arrived we had a fresh coconut and mango sticky rice. Our room was very large, great working new air con too. Shower was powerful and hot. They went above and beyond more times than we could count we extended our stay once there as it was so perfect. From free coffee, breakfast, free kayaks, they arranged scooters for us and helmets too, advised us places to go. It was just so perfect! We will definitely be back. After all that and more they even gave us a small gift as we left. Thank you

Nice bungalow right on the beach with a minimart and restaurants close by. The owners are lovely people who will help with anything you need. If you want to visit a paradise Island and have a beach to yourself this is the place to come. If you want full moon parties etc you will have to look elsewhere. I can't think of a better place for a honeymoon or if you just want to chill for a few days.

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly...

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very...

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).

View Night mare holiday No help alone no one on duty. No food stranded as too dark at night to venture out.still recovering from over 300 hundred bites some bed bugs & sandflys. The horror of cockroaches bed bugs centipedes etc Dark garden trying to get dinner Two dog attacks. Booking . Com were no help with the airline change time of plane . I paid new flight & 3 hours £30 phone calls.Or my plea not the room I booked.

Nice quiet island but very expensive compared to other places in Thailand. There's only a couple roads easy to explore the whole island in one day. Just make sure to bring a lot of bug spray the sand flies and mosquitoes eat humans all the time- thai or foreigner- best resort hands is seavana

Really nice and chill island, it's laid back and a great place for a break but you can also do activities such as snorkeling and diving. There's not loads to do but it's exactly what we were looking for, a little island paradise. Plenty of restaurants but not many bars. A day trip to Koh Kham is an absolute must! "The Ball Cafe" and "Pak Pak Vegan" are great cafés. Try "M.A. Bistro" for upmarket dinner or "Khun Mam's Kitchen" for an authentic Thai meal.

We had number 1 villa, Seaview. Position absolutely perfect!! Great beach, near all restaurants, pier for boat to Koh Kood. Great patio area, needs a bit of updating. Large spacious room for 2 people, basic inside, but liveable! Great staff, and helpful owner! Superb island, great for bike, lov3d watching sun go down from the cocktail happy hour beach bar every night, Great vibe. I used to dream this villa house was mine, and think how I would make it something really special inside and outside !!!

Can definitely recommend White Sand Beach resort on Koh Mak. The island itself is small and lovely, perfect for those seeking solitude. The resort was calm even though there were several other guests. Staff is very friendly. There are small beaches surrounding the resort with a great view. Breakfast and restaurant served good food, but the best food on the whole island can be found at “Q bar” at a walking distance from the resort! You can rent a scooter at the resort for a good price.

Almost like a dream! Great house and bungalow next to the quiet and beautiful beach. If we knew, we would have stayed longer! Best breakfast I have experienced in Thailand yet. Easy to take a boat over to amazing Koh Kham 🙏
