The rooms are as close to the beach as you would wish for. The owners are truly the sweetest and so welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic in style but on the opposite end of the spectrum they have a fridge, kettle and teas, coffees etc. water is provided and air con was great. Shampoo, shower gel AND conditioner was also provided. I liked the vibe a lot. It was relaxing, calm and just gave us a perfect end to our stay on the island.

The bungalows are located just a few minutes walk from Buffalo beach which we consider to be the best on the island. We received a fantastic reception from our host Lek who gave us a map on arrival and explained where we could find points of interest, he was also able to arrange motorcycle or mountain bike rental as well as offering a laundry service and booking return ferry tickets. The beds in the bungalows are very comfortable, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and meeting other guests. Several guests commented it was the best bungalow operation on the island and it certainly felt that way. We’ll definitely be coming back.

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by adorable hosts, Kaori and Clay, pretty dogs (they are quite at night !) and a lovely cat. The Bangalore is spacious and clean with a balcony where you can just chill or observe amazing exotic birds. They have full kitchen equipment, otherwise restaurants and mini markets are just around the corner. Walking distance from the port (10-15 minutes). Thank you, we had a lovely moment at your place !

Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island.

Koh Phayam is a beautiful and chill island. There is no crazy party culture like on a lot of Thailand's popular islands, but there are amazing, kind, open-minded people (lots of backpackers, also remote workers) and every night you can find a party somewhere, in case you crave one. The island offers beautiful beaches and lots of cute cafes and restaurants. You can either rent a bungalow or a dorm room (I 100% recommend Tropical Hostel). The fun thing about Koh Phayam is that you can get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes on your motorbike, making discovery of the island very accessible. It's a beautiful small community and quickly feels like home.

We (my wife and I) booked or 4 days to check it out. Overall we stayed a good 2 weeks, but in other locations that you can find for cheaper. We loved the island for its beauty and laidbackness. It is a great alternative to the tourist hotspots, for families with kids, couples, travellers, and to a certain extent also nightlife-lovers with some weekly parties of Reggae, Techno/House, Psytrance occurring...of course no comparison to Ko Phangan and mainly old freaks retiring here ;-)

What a beautiful, mostly unspoilt island, lovely beaches, jungle and no cars! Laid back atmosphere. The food was amazing, much, much better than in Koh Tao where we are now. Lovely local people. A real gem - let’s hope it doesn’t go the way of Koh Samui and Koh Tao.

Amazing, largely unspoilt island.

Amazing, largely unspoilt island. No cars so get a bike to tour around the island. Visit Hippie Bar Eat at Knock Knock Nok and Sun Resort for excellent fish. Look out for hornbills and sea eagles Take a boat out

The Island is incredible - beautiful, lush and lovely to explore by scootie, cycle or walking. Our fav restaurant was The Kitchen Table run by Chioko. Best brusketta and place to hang with sweet kitties and dogs. Also Flower Power has excellent Italian food. We loved our stay in Bamboo Bungalos. Can’t wait to go back! Pure heaven.

Big mistake i make until now in my 3 months trip in sowtheast of Asia. It was so nice the island and the place that we decidid instend of stay 10 days stay 25.😁 Best sunset of the island. Surrounded by green in our bungalows. To chill in the hammock of our bungallow( hearing the birds in a really nice shadow)when the sun is to hot. Infortunatly they are already booked so we have to find another place🥲.Non and First the couple owners the place are very , very friendly. The staff also.

I stayed in a tent , i had lot of space next to me to relax and drink my coffee , looking the nature . In front of the hotel , there is a super market and the restaurant upstairs . The sea is 3 minutes from there . Is quite place far from noisy
