We had a really lovely stay at the Bamboo Beach House - it was easy to find, extremely comfortable (soft bed and good pillows, not Thai style!), nicely decorated and in a beautiful location. Tim is a truly outstanding host who goes above and beyond to help his guests settle in, give recommendations, and even to arrange car/motorbike rental. He very kindly took us to the supermarket to stock up on our first day, and later took us to the local clinic and pharmacy in town too! Daisy the dog is an absolute joy, so friendly and well behaved! The beach is pristine and has a perfect sunset view. Hardly anyone else sharing the beach, just a few locals and maybe some of Tim’s other guests.

The bedrooms are very spacious w/ en-suite and air on. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment & cooking essentials. The hosts were super helpful and even went out of their way to book a coach for us. Would definitely recommend a stay here: great value for money!

Loved the spacious feel and the cool design of the place! It was clean, comfy, and conveniently close to shops. The staff was top-notch: super friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet at night. A great stay overall!
