We booked The StandardX due to its location on the river - and it was really great to sit on the terrace and watch the boats while having breakfast, also the rooftop bar provided a nice view and pool area. Phra Arthit pier is right in front of the hotel, perfect to catch the public transport boats. We had a room facing the street which still was quiet due to good isolation. The breakfast was very good, the employees very friendly and helpful. Another highlight: the art exhibitions in the lobby.

The location is perfect, within a walking distance to Kaohsan road, Palace, Temple but in a quiet road so it's not noisy at night. The room was very spacious, extremely clean, looked brand new. We got complimentary water. Staff was kind, helpful with the tours and arranging transportation. Breakfast was good, freshly made omelettes were delicious. The rooftop is beautifully arranged and has a wonderful view over the city. There is a nice looking pool but we didn't use it in our short stay. Although it is a little pricey it is well worth the money.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring that every part of our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Excellent hotel close to ICON SIAM. This is now my Go-To hotel when I stay in Bangkok. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. I like the basic Marie-Condo set-up as it makes the room bright and clean.

Great location - BTS station close by, great restaurants in the close proximity to the hotel, Friendly and helpful staff, Room was nice and clean - yes room is not the biggest but definitely not claustrophobic as some are describing it in the reviews, Tasty breakfasts - moderate variety, always fresh fruits and pastry, great miso soup, Nice bar - a bit on the pricey side but with happy hour 1+1 free drink it's a good deal, Gym - adequate - 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, free weights(dumbbells) up to 20kg Surprisingly great soap and shampoo. I never thought I will mention soap and shampoo in the review but here it is :)
