It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from...
It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from comparing to HuaLiang which is 18KM south of XinCheng. But, this town is also 18 KM closer to Taroko National Park. Xincheng has a real village feel. It is also closer to Taroko Gorge, with buses and scooter rental at the train station. Xincheng also has a big deserted beach to go for a stroll.
