Our entire stay at Nijiro was exeptional. Check-in was very smoth and speedy, and they even had refreshing drinks for us when we arrived. The staff couldn't do enough for us, Lucy and Julie were so attentive and friednly. We had lovely drinks by the pool and had a fun evening at the bar playing pool also. We couldn't reccomend this place enough!

I wish I could give this Hotel 11 out of 10. I have stayed in many hotels and this tops the list. The staff were amazing from the second I stepped out of the taxi the security man was so friendly and helpful and kind and welcoming and all of the staff were incredible. Prince, the manager, is an electric hard-working generous fountain of knowledge. I would not have made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro without his advice, guidance, encouragement, and inspiration as well as the help of many other of the wonderful staff. The room was so beautiful and spacious. It is rare to find a hotel with such an extensive fully well equipped gym just like one of the best gyms in the world. The restaurant on the top floor has beautiful views and ambience and the food comes in generous proportions and is delicious and the staff are so lovely. The cafe downstairs also has great options and delicious smoothies for after a gym workout. The location is central and close to banks and restaurants and other amenities. I would love to go there again

I wish I could give this Hotel 11 out of 10. I have stayed in many hotels and this tops the list. Footpaths are uneven and in some places there are none, there open drains with and without cover. The ground is uneven in places. People are extremely helpful and otherwise.

I loved the cool weather and pleasant people (mostly). Our taxi driver was so kind and considerate, ensuring we found our accommodation and were well settled in. Others helped me get the currency right till the numbers clocked in right in my brain, making sure I didn't lose money or get taken advantage of. Life is relaxed there. Loved the cuisine. I also attended a wedding and experienced new culture It was worth my time! We had a cook who made us superb meals! lots of coffee plantations.

Arusha is at the heart of the East African Safari. It is the tourist capital of Tanzania. Here, many tourists arrive from all corners of the world to climb the great Kilimanjaro Mountain or get on a safari across the land of the Masai, including Serengeti National Park. The town is full of history, with great museums and cultural sites. It is the political base of East Africa as it hosts the headquarters of the East African Community which brings together 7 countries. The people are vibrant, the coastal influence in food and cuisine is evident, the bars are 'çhaotic' and the vibe is vibing.

I felt that Arusha was a very friendly and safe town to visit. Everyone was helpful and kind. I was traveling on my own, then with a safari group, and I had a wonderful experience in that town. We walked to local restaurants from our hostel, and I don't remember the names of them. I find that staying at the hostel was better than at a hotel because it is easier to meet other people which makes the visit much more enjoyable, especially when traveling alone. I highly recommend the Wakawaka hostel. It had a great price and breakfast and use of the kitchen were included! Also the owner is wonderful, and gives it a real homey welcoming touch.

Arusha is definitely gorgeous, has potential free activities with intentions to support their town you can visit the art gallery and cultural center and support African culture. I loved the Gran Melia Hotel , Pricilla was very lovely , and the staff in general were just great, amazing food ; best scenery for Mount Meru and the Nature. I was in AWEE

Arusha is so gorgeous.

Arusha is so gorgeous. I honestly wish I had more time there.😍 The view of Mount Meru was such a delight, and the weather is a lot less hot compared to Dar. It rained at some point and ive never been happier all soaked and on a daladala.😂 It's also home to the largest art gallery in Africa, and that place is lovely. I didn't try many different foods but I had zege, ugali, and some local food at a place they called 'Miami Beach'😁 but maybe don't try find that on Google maps. You can ask a local for directions. It's a really amazing place and so much to see so make sure you do better than I did and spend a few more days😎

Great atmosphere. Secure location. Accommodating hosts. We went on a safari after our stay here and Johnson went out of his way and kept our suitcases in the hotel during our safari. There was a place to do laundry and dry clothes on the rooftop. Other visitors staying at the hostel were super nice and respectful too. Around 15 min walk to Arusha centre too so easy access.

The hotel is lovely, really friendly and helpful staff and a little oasis. The pool was cleaned regularly and the grounds are really well kept. The food was basic but nice, the vegetable soup's were really tasty. The rooms are a good size, although they do not have fans or air conditioning we were comfortable. Overall this is an excellent place to stay when in Arusha.

Wonderful stay near Arusha! The perfect base for safaris and other activties in the surrounding area. Comfortable room and the hotel staff was warm and accomodating. Lots of options, including vegetarian food, in the onsite restaurant.
