nice, new and clean. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place has only two bungalows that made this place unique for a relaxing stay. We did daily dives with the team that was very helpful and took us to some great places. the food was excellent and highly recommend. We hope to come back soon! big thanks to Gianna and the team.

I absolutely loved my stay at Basecamp and can’t wait to return. The hotel is beautiful and the service of the staff exceptional. They can’t do enough to make guests feel comfortable and accommodated for. The rooms are stunning, overlooking the beach and the pool and restaurant areas are a great place to relax. For divers there’s a dive shop within a minute’s walk and for non divers alternative excursions from the hotel. A wonderful place to stay for some quiet time on a white sand beach.

Set a few steps from Big Blu Mafia Island Diving Center in Utende, Butiama Marine Camp welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Free private parking is available on site.

The bungalows are very cozy, super clean and the staff is extremely friendly 👌👍 The owner took us on a day trip with snorkeling and diving and had a lot of tips for us. He joined us for lunch and dinner and had an answer to all of our questions regarding whale sharks, diving, beaches etc. 100% recommendation !

The staff are amazing. Abi is so helpful and kind. The Whale Shark activity was awesome and the Captain and Guide were respectful towards the Whale Sharks unlike the other boats around us. It was also cheaper than the other lodges. The room was spotless and comfortable. Spa treatment fantastic. Really super spot. We had an amazing 6 days stay. here..Mussa the owneris a very nice man,good energy very friendly and always up to help you, and giving sugestion for day trips and aranging them for you And he is a great chef, we had incredible good lunches and dinners.I can highly recomend to stay here. All the personal are very friendly. Our bungalow was very nice, big bed,big bathroom and with our own terrace with great viwe to the garden and the sea.
