Just returned home from amazing stay at Kipepeo. Perfect location, tasty seafood at the restaurant, clean beach with security. What is extremely memorable the staff of the hotel: the boss Dorothy always asked how did we feel, is anything ok, receptionist Siita, called Mama Siita, was so nice and warm person who made all our wishes and dreams come true, gave advice on trips, souvenirs! As someone mentioned in the reviews, better to book bungalows which are 2 minutes away on foot from the reception. Bungalows are spacious, each has balcony to chill, shower and WC.

Everything was good. People, facilities. What impressed me and my family were the staff. 4am we should left to airport. So we couldn't eat breakfast. But they prepared lunch box for all of my family. Sandwiches and fruits. Even though other hotels and people scammed us, only this hotel was welcoming and kind to us. So if you go to Dar. Stay this hotel. You will never regret your choice. Thank you. We really enjoyed 😉

It's not my first time at Serena, but the other times I couldn't use any of the amenities. This time I used the Gym, the sauna and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this hotel, and the feeling is great. The rooms are not new, so shower and wc could be improved. But the room is huge, the service is excellent, like it is expected in a 5 starts. Small courtesy like preparing your room for the night, plenty of complementary water, very nice view to the garden and sea. The gym is excellent. Small details like having a smart TV that connects to our phone are also a plus. And they were very friendly to allow me a late check out considering I was taking a late flight, so it allow me to take a nice shower before leaving. The hotel is general is not a new style hotel, but you can feel the tradition and a mix of Arabic and África. There's a lot of people coming from outside to use the restaurant and that gives some extra life to the hotel. The other times I was not so impressed, this time I loved it. Thank you to all staff.

The double ensuite room in the guest house is very clean and comfortable. The shared lounge room is a nice place to chat with other guests and the lovely hosts, who will give you a very warm welcome. The location is very convenient to the airport. To reach the CBD takes about 30-40 minutes by Boda or Bajaji. There's a small shop around the corner but not much else immediately nearby, but you can order drinks and food from the menu.
