Very hot days but nice evenings in August. I liked walking around Old Town which is only about 11 minutes from the hotel. I enjoyed taking the tram up to Sandia Peak and hiking around. It's a beautiful city, but a bit to scary to walk with family on the streets, extremally to many homeless people and drugs left and right. Its very sad The tourism department needs to step up and work with the city to remove this from the streets.. Every city has this issues but Albuquerque is extremely bad You can see people doing drugs on the side walks, no matter what street . Very sad.. There are so many interesting things to do for every age. Food is great. So many good restaurants. Weather is usually nice, too. Many events to attend. Airport is easy to fly in or out of.
