Search hotels in Allen Park, MI

I watched as they built the Allen Park Motor lodge, swan in the pool (no longer exists) and have stayed there many times. It is my home away from home. When I am in the Downriver area I stay there and would not stay anywhere else. It's like coming home.

And never been to Allen Park and it was adorable. I thought like I had everything I needed again. I didn’t get to go to my great nieces birthday party, which was going to be on Sunday due to having to get to Grand Rapids from my husband surgery, but I will be back and I will definitely stay there again very essentially located to everything and where I need to be at, well maintained hotel and everything worked beautifully. I did meet a friend for dinner at the Ford motors garage. It was so cool highly recommend it. Very neat place super cool things I bought a sweet hat and a T-shirt and everyone there was just very nice very helpful and smiles all over

We didn't spend much time exploring Allen Park itself, but it was the perfect central location for all that we had planned on out trip. ie Detroit Zoo, Detroit Institute of Arts, downtown Detroit.

We needed to make several trips to the area for medical care over the last 6 months. Of the different hotels we had to use during this time the Hampton was the best of the lot. The staff was professional but friendly, rooms were clean (which was NOT the case in some of the other hotels), the breakfast area was clean & the food hot, as was the coffee. It also appeared as if management spent time, effort, & money on upkeep (the carpet in the hallway was clean, the chairs & tables in the lounge area had been dusted, and the parking lot well lit). The location made it easier to access the different roads & freeways

I loved everything in the surrounding area. The hotel we stayed at “Best Western Greenfield Inn” was fantastic and was super cool. We loved the e commute to Ford Field being easy. There was so much more we wish we could have gotten to!! We ate at Mugly’s and it was FANTASTIC!

I like the breakfast in the mornings. I don’t know who came up with these ugly blue vinyl headboards and the poor lighting. To me I feel it was a rush job on putting the hotel together it is not the usual standards of the Hampton Inn.
