I only live one hour away, and I have enjoyed Cody probably...
I only live one hour away, and I have enjoyed Cody probably hundreds of times since moving to Greybull in 1978. The Buffalo Bill Museum is a national treasure, there are excellent restaurants, good shopping, and multiple coffee shops! I only have one complaint and it's a selfish one. Although Wayne's Boot Shop has a quality shoes, the selection is small. Otherwise, I LOVE Cody, even during the height of the tourist season--watching them, especially enjoying the museum, is great fun!Guest review byCathy - 10.0
We've been to Cody quite a few times over 40 years.
We've been to Cody quite a few times over 40 years. Fortunately it has stayed family friendly and hasn't become a "tourist trap". I have always loved the Buffalo Bill Center, was there in '76 when John Wayne was in town. Old Town and nightly rodeos are great attractions. We love everything about the area, the western atmosphere, the rodeo, the architecture, the history, the people and their welcoming spirit, all of it! We have been enjoying our stay! Stayed at the Irma which had a restaurant,bar with entertainment, a gift shop and a trolley which took u on a 1 hr tour of the city, we went to the Cody cattle co supper show last nite and it was amazing. After that we went to the rodeo which was u believable! Exciting. Today we when to the Buffalo Bill Center of the west! So much to absorb! Need a couple of days!
