On arrival I had paid in advance through Bookings but they...
On arrival I had paid in advance through Bookings but they did not have it. I showed the front clerk the bookings email being paid. Also showed my banks statement showing paid. I still had to charge the room again. Waiting to see if the Roadway Inn charge goes through. It shows pending at this time. The room was supposed to be non smoking, but it smelled of smoke possibly on the curtains. As I only stayed one night It was tolerable. The young woman at the front desk was very nice and tried her best to help with the charges. She co tasted her boss fir what to do and was told to charge again. The room was clean and good for the cost. The location was quiet and did not seem in a bad area. Actually abuts the police station parking g lot next door! Plenty of food and other convinces in the area without long drives the low cost and clean room makes this a good choice for a few day stayGuest review byPaulUnited States - 8.0

When we ate dinner in a resturant in Galax, we could not get across the road to head back to the inn. We had to go in a direction away from the Inn because of the median. We had to go nearly a mile to find a place to turn around and go back to the Inn.Guest review byRobertUnited States

Washington Inn is even more beautiful than what the pictures show. The New River view is breathtaking! The room was very clean.
