We didn't go to Genoa on our most recent trip (it's 3 miles from Walley's Resort), but we have on other occasions. It's a fun little town with a lot of interesting history. Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer as residents. Several delicious restaurants are in town. It’s quiet and secluded. I stayed at David Wally’s Resort for about 5 months on a business trip once and fell in love with Genoa.
