Very central location in a very walkable city. Excellent king room on the 4th floor. Parking is easy, and the price is reasonable considering the other options around town. Staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. Would definitely stay again.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed. We stayed in the Tower Room and found it to be exceptionally clean and sanitary. The innkeeper was knowledgeable about the area and provided great suggestions on how to avoid crowds to have a leisurely day of sightseeing.

We have visited the area many times, and this time was for a...

We have visited the area many times, and this time was for a specific overnight event. Regarding Montpelier proper, there is little to do or see: the capitol is worth a visit, but requires little time. Despite what we read in a recent chamber of commerce publication, this is not a place for gastronomy: there is a good, but hardly noteworthy, Italian restaurant, and some small familiar ethnic places that we have never tried. The remaining choices are OK, serviceable. One recommendation would be the Capital Gound, for breakfast or lunch. Good coffee. The city is well placed for touring central VT.

Basic, somewhat Spartan accommodations in an older building.. Quiet, with few other guests. Cordial staff. Everything worked OK, but the stairs to my room were steep and narrow. Very nice front porch for sitting and conversation, on site parking, easy walk into center of Montpelier. Restaurant was closed during my visit.

Have been to Montpelier area several times but this was not a vacation trip it was a bereavement. All of Vermont is beautiful and feel lucky to have visited there so many times in the past with my sister.

This was a beautiful location. Off the deck was a lovely garden and fields. We watched lots of birds; humming birds, goldfinch and cardinals being my favorite. The house was perfect and spotless clean with lots of nice amenities, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient to Montpelier downtown and Barre. It was very peaceful and comfortable. We loved staying here. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent service by front desk. Nothing too much trouble for them. Beautiful hotel and room with view on 5th floor. Lift broken to 5th floor (apparently has been broken for a few years) but other than having to get lift to 4th floor and use stairs for last level, this is a perfect place to stay in Montpellier.

It's not a hotel anymore. It's a homeless shelter. So it left us in a very serious situation as the little town had limited places to stay. We had to hustle and find a place for the weekend after we arrived to the town. Take it off your list. It's not a hotel anymore!
