Absolutely fantastic stay. This was a last minute lucky pick and I have never had a better accommodation in NYC. Everything was perfect, this is an absolute gem! The bathroom was surprisingly large for anything NYC and the shower extremely comfortable. Upon booking, my request for a high floor was accommodated without question (usually "there are no rooms available on the higher floors"). The staff was super kind! We had a couple extra requests (a kettle and an extra duvet) and the staff were kind, not uppity, and quick in responding to our needs. I will definitely come back here!

This was our second stay at The Wallace and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Beautiful boutique hotel in the quiet Upper West Side, close to Central Park and easy subway access. The addition of the Wallace Lounge , an atmospheric bar and lounge with live jazz most nights and lovely bar food is great.

We were getting civilly married in Manhattan and chose the Ludlow for its location, in walking distance to City Hall and close to some of the best parts of the LES. The facilities were fantastic and the service impeccable: They upgraded our High Floor Queen to a Skybox Loft and gifted us a bottle of prosecco. The rooftop is also stunning - we were able to take photos up there after our City Hall appointment. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious. I would definitely go to the restaurant next time. Katz's and Russ & Daughters are on the corner - perfect for breakfast!

I had a wonderful trip to NYC!

I had a wonderful trip to NYC! I walked all around Times Square. We saw all of the stores in their Christmas beauty! Macy's didn't disappoint. It's always so much fun to shop there and enjoy the holiday! We ate at the Brooklyn Delicatessen! It was delicious! We had a coffee and treats at the Starbucks in Macy's. I shopped at Clarks. The staff there are wonderful! I shopped at Target and TJMAXX too.

Plan your trip and book your reservations ahead of time.

Plan your trip and book your reservations ahead of time. Use the subway. It is inexpensive and can get you anywhere you wish in the city—you pay via your credit card. Restaurants are expensive so choose with care. Sights can be crowded so do your research. There is so much to see and many times the lesser known sights can be very interesting.

Great shopping, I love the vintage/consignment stores.

Great shopping, I love the vintage/consignment stores. Also the Christmas lights, I did a walking tour which was lovely and our guy provided some great historical info too, very worthwhile. Loved seeing The Rockettes Christmas Show, it's so nice and envelopes you in Christmas. MJ The Musical was fab too, you can take your pick of Broadway shows. I visited some lovely hotels for design inspo and was welcomed even though I wasn't staying. The food was delicious and though alone I felt at ease and well cared for. The subway was brilliant and easy to use. Google maps was great to ensure I knew how many stops, and which direction to get off. New York is definitely a fab visit for everyone!

New York is wonderful to visit, especially during the Christmas season. For super early arrivers, recommend visiting the New Years numbers at Times Sq for selfie pics, then walk to 49th to see an unobstructed view of the lit tree. Eat at Dallas BBQs and Angelina's Bakery. Ride the ferry from Wall St to Pier 79 at Hudson Yards, as well as the free Staten Island ferry pass the Statue of Libertty.

We saw the Rockettes Christmas spectacular. And it was. We Ate a wonderful dinner at “Butter”. We enjoyed both Chelsea Market and Hudson Yards. We walked the Highline. It was mid 30s but we enjoyed the weather. The only drawback was the taxi fees to get to midtown. On some occasions we could walk faster. There is only one NYC and everybody should have NYC on their list of places to visit

The best way to understand Manhattan is to do a lot of walking and use the Subway. We visited all the well established attractions plus walked the length of Central Park from N to S as well as taking in an NHL game at Madison Square Garden & an NFL game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Our planned "expensive" meal was a Club A steakhouse (7/10), and out favorite meal was at Grimaldi's Pizza Restaurant just over the Brooklyn Bridge. If you are keen on Sports, go to Finnerty's Bar near Penn St station on 34th Street.

This hotel is perfectly located, close to the Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and subway stations. We were a bit concerned with noise prior to our arrival, but the kindly staff gave us a room facing back and it was really quiet (for New York). We were pleasantly surprised by this. Friendly staff members like miss Karina, Miss Nancy and the Paris borne gentlemen that makes perfect espresso coffee made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in midtown either alone or with family.
