However, Pacifica is beautiful and quiet with some great restaurants, so I can confidently recommend it for travelers who aren't visiting family. The beach and the area at this time of the season was nice. The weather was perfect for swimming and hiking. Going to shopping and food places in the area is simple, especially with walking distance. Nice coastal town. Lots of options for walking, bicycling, and driving. Shopping close by, also close to Half Moon Bay and about an hour up from Santa Cruz. This is my second time staying here, and I remember why it is so relaxing. I step out of my room, take a few more steps and end up on the beach! If I am feeling really brave, I can don a wet suit and grab a short board and try some surfing or just grab a chair and some sun. Either way, there is no wrong approach to the day. Between exploring the tide pools, walking along the shore, watching the sunset, or just gazing across the ocean and taking in the sun, Pacifica has it all in one little package.Guest review byMr. BlazUnited States

Our room was spacious and pristine, the hotel was quiet. It is near the centre of Pacifica yet a few miles from the beach and most restaurants.
