In late-fall/winter the climate is perfect, though too hot in mid-summer. The city is mostly pristine, apart from the areas just north of the airport. There are plenty of upscale properties in the Paradise Valley area and on the foothills of the mountains. There are some beautiful easy and challenging hiking trails in the camelback mountains. The Parago Park public area is lovely with the added treat of the hole in the rock where you get great views of the city and surrounding areas and can take some memorable photos. The Celebrity Theatre is a wonderful venue for a concert. My feeling is that you wouldn't want to spend more than a few days if you want to visit attractions, but in the late-fall/winter this is a great place to relax if you have a pool with views of the mountains.

Phoenix is so beautiful.

Phoenix is so beautiful. Lots of amazing Mexican culture and desert vibes. The city and surrounding areas are huge but not overwhelming, I felt right at home. Only major shock was the driving. It seems like people get into accidents often. There are even accident lawyer ads all over the city. I recommend trying Lo-Lo's Fried Chicken restaurant. Some of the best food I've ever had in my life.

I haven't explored Phoenix yet, we only stayed not too far from the airport, close to the Grand Canyon University. However, since it was our first time in AZ, we really liked our stay in Phoenix.

I spent most of my time at a board meeting, thus not a very good judge of the overall qualities of the city. Went to the Heard Museum at is was wonderful, worth a visit or big enough for maybe two visits. There are a number of good Southwest and Mexican restaurants in the downtown area.

I've been there many times. Now I've noticed a significant degradation in security: the window of my car was smashed in a parking lot in the city. Obviously, the police have become ineffective...

This place is nothing short of wonderful.

This place is nothing short of wonderful. The host went above and beyond even letting us know we could check in early. The bright and airy condo is perfect for a couples weekend or a months long stay. Could not ask for anything more than this place provided.

Myself and my husband got married in Vegas the week before our stay in Phoenix. We road tripped to Phoenix via the Grand Canyon and we stayed in numerous motels that were of average quality. The day we arrived in Phoenix we decided to treat ourselves and spend a bit more on a hotel and we are so so glad we did! The hotel was exceptionally clean, the location was perfect and it was the exact amount of comfort we needed after a week of travelling and sleeping in roadside motels!

Breakfast was great with lots of choice! We really enjoyed and left the hotel stuffed everyday. Also loved that the bus to downtown Phoenix was in front of the hotel. We paid $4.50 for day passes and it was only a 25 min ride. There are numerous restaurants across the street including a 24 hour Mexican one that’s next door and delicious.

Great luxury end hotel with lots of pools and a couple of restaurants Food was excellent and the service was good as well. The desert ridge area is on the edge of Phoenix and makes a good choice for those to wish to stay a little be further out of the downtown area.
