Hotel easy to find close enough to the freeways but away...

Hotel easy to find close enough to the freeways but away from most of the traffic. It does seem that red lights are a suggestion a LOT of people that just think yellow means go faster? 3-4 cars at a time at most lights after it turns red, so be careful. Lots of different restaurants. Can due with out the flash floods and thunder storms. All in all had a good trip.

Lots of nice parks and restaurants. Love Anderson Gardens and nearby hiking trails. The drive along Illinois 2 Rockford to Dixon is beautiful in the fall. The new Hard Rock casino has some great musicians booked.

Rockford is a great place however The Weston Hotel was disgusting. Below I have submitted photos and videos of thr filthy room and the dirty rag is me trying to mop the floor. It was that black. What u see in the toilet is hair my husband pulled out of the bath tub drain. Not to mention the tub drained slowly

The hotel itself was amazing. The thing that made it less than exceptional or only mediocre is the air conditioning. The room did not work properly. It was hot and muggy most of the night.

Pet friendly and grounds to walk your pet. Breakfast was not bad either. Finally some high boy toilets for us old folks. One of the few hotels that had them on our trip out west and back.

Everything was pretty good, the pool was somewhat dirty but swimming was possible. The breakfast wasn't bad, it was just packed in a small area and people took most of the food by 8am.

I thought the pool was a bit cold and maybe needed some updates. Was disappointed there was no hot tub, I'm just used to there being one when there is a pool.
