We loved Hatcher Gardens, it was probably the highlight of our trip. The downtown area was a bit hard to navigate with a larger vehicle but there was a lot to see/do there as well. The staff at the Hub City Train Museum was phenomenal- knowledgeable and friendly. If you head our toward Roebuck there's a tiny diner in a strip mall (Grill 221) and the burgers are delicious (and huge)!Guest review byAmandaUnited States - 8.0

We didn't have enough time to truly explore the entire town. However, we did enjoy the Hatcher's Botanical Gardens as well as the Hub. We found a great little place to eat called Ali Baba, the Gyros were out of this world. Spartanburg was beautiful, however my accommodations were awful. The Suites Inn was disgusting the shower and sink were filthy. The floors were absolutely abominable, I skated on two towels to keep my feet clean. The bed pillows and blankets stunk of smoke so bad. There were batteries hanging out the back of the entry door...I absolutely deserve a refund for this "stay". The refrigerator stunk like something died in it and the microwave had crap on the top inside of it. We went a few blocks from the hotel and the street was closed off. There were tables and chairs in the street. AWESOME food choices and beverages. We had an enjoyable afternoon enjoying the outdoors.
