I became sick when I arrived at the Homestay. The host took good care of me and helped me to go to a doctor. Furthermore the food was amazing as well as the view of the valley. Absolut recommendation!!

A fantastic find, a little off the beaten track but conveniently located for heading either north or south. Had a lovely dinner with the homestay owner, who gave me some great tips for my travels. The room was good, it came with a mosquito tent that kept me unbitten. It can be a little loud with the sound of the frogs in the rice paddies. Mattress is firm, but that's common in this region.

This was one of our favourite homestays from a 1 month motorbike tour of Northern Vietnam and it totally lives up to the outstanding google reviews. The homestay is a traditional wooden building with rooms on the second floor and dining area below. It is set in a pretty gardens in beautiful traditional village surrounded by karst mountains. The valley over the road ("thao nguyen dong lam" on google maps) was absolutely stunning and it's worth staying a night or two in the area just for that. The family was very welcoming and the food was delicious, the menu was extensive and we could even order our favourite bubble tea. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were nice and close to the rooms on the second floor. I get the impression the homestay caters mainly to Vietnamese guests so expect firm beds, thin walls and get your translate app ready!

we stayed here 3 nights and we’ve loved it! the family is adorable and all the people around were extremely friendly. they were very welcoming and were obviously interesting in who we were despite the language barrier. We really wish them all the best and we for sure recommend they’re homestay :)
