Big and Beautiful apartment at Stay at Friends. We were there for three nights and had the most wonderful stay. The breakfast Every morning was to die for. Walking distance to the Beach and you can also walk to see the pinguins along the Beach/ shoreline. Stargazing at night. Just a beautiful place on Earth.

Wonderful stay in an elegant villa overlooking the ocean. We truly appreciated the complimentary upgrade: from our room we enjoyed a spectacular sunset, one of the highlights of our trip. This is our second visit to Sol Y Sombre. Annette's place is super well equipped for a very good and enjoyable stay. She even has lightbulbs that light up with loadshedding and often has the internet working as well. The place is very close to a beautiful beach and many hiking trails. Defintely a place to return to.

Katarina was wonderful, great welcome and she reserved a restaurant for us for the evening. Very calm, wonderful silence ! The room was huge, very clean and very well equiped. Definatly recommand if you like the quiet.

Super friendly welcome! Everything was clean and comfortable and refreshing. Kitchen had all the necessities, as well as an indoor braai facility. Awesome outdoor area to admire the fynbos and birdlife. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Would definitely make a detour to go stay there again. The owners/staff were just the nicest people, with great local advice. Really lovely people

    Betty's bay is breath taking.

    Betty's bay is breath taking. It is the perfect place for family getaways with walking distance to the beach. It's safe and secure and the people around are so friendly. There is alot of nature reserves to visit and enjoy. The Rooiels deli is great for breakfasts. Please visit the pottery shop just putisde Betty's bay. John has beautiful pottery on display.. Mussels can be found on the beach and is great of you know how to cook them.
