Our bedroom was spacious, quiet, attractively styled and the bed was large and very comfortable . Our ensuite was clean with a good shower and bath. It was roomy and well presented. The location is excellent for a short, pleasant walk to the Apartheid Museum, which is a must see to understand the history of South Africa. As well, the Hop On Bus is available at the doorstep. There is a huge choice of restaurants, a bowling alley, children’s arcade, movie cinemas, and a casino all inside the hotel, so you don’t have to leave. While we didn’t go to the theme park, due to a lack of time and probably our mature age, it looked very popular and again only a short walk across a foot bridge. The food and service at the included breakfast was excellent. The hotel reception was very obliging.

The stuff is super welcoming 🙏🏿 my sister and I felt well taken care of. Great hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the room was beautiful oh my GOD I really fall in love with it , it was clean and fresh just breath taking. I had to check in late, so Tasneem came in from home to check me in and made me feel very m uch welcomed. Security staff was also very kind and accommodating. Everyone there made me feel at ease. They went out of their way to do so.

Lebo’s backpackers is not a simple hostel, it’s more a family and a community. Located in Soweto township offers you the change to get to know this important part of jo’burg. Staff is super friendly, rooms are big and clean with a lot of common space, the food is very good and freshly made, the tours are a must to be done. Truly reccomended!

It is quiet. Could be cosy if everything else was on point. No toilet paper, tea or coffee, cockroach on the bed, a stinky blanket in winter were the disappointments. Put signage outside for easy location.
