Fantastic location, beautiful small scale lodge with ultra pleasant and friendly staff. The activities were fantastic, especially the morning game walks. Being escorted by two very knowledgeable Rangers, we felt safe in the bush and immensely enjoyed the walks and all that we saw and learned these days.

Everything is perfect. The facility, foods, location, staff is much better than expected. We didn’t see leopard. However we were very satisfied to see a very impressive scene ( lions eating zebra….)

Everything was perfect and high quality. Accommodation was very nice and comfortable, bed was amazing. Staff were very very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing and they really go out of their way to make the experience unforgettable. We had lunch and dinners in various settings. The gym is small but well equipped. Massages were amazing and the game drives were fun and comfy.

Our stay at the beautiful Last Word Kitara was truly special. The lodge is set in a peaceful, breathtaking environment where you can completely immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean, and come with a beautiful balcony — the ideal spot to unwind between game drives. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, and the attention to detail was impressive — the table was always beautifully set, with a different and thoughtful arrangement each time, which made every dining experience feel unique and personal. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always helpful. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and their warmth added so much to our overall experience. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guide Matt and tracker Patrick. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five all in one day, which was truly unforgettable. What really stood out was Matt’s genuine passion for animals — whether it was birds or big cats, his enthusiasm was contagious and made every sighting even more exciting. I particularly enjoyed watching how he and Patrick tracked the animals — carefully reading signs, interpreting tracks, and slowly piecing together where the wildlife might be. Being part of that process made each drive feel like a real adventure. This was such a wonderful way to celebrate my graduation. Our journey through the safari was nothing short of fantastic, beginning with a thrilling encounter with a sleeping lion en route to the lodge. The adventure continued with more lion sightings as we departed. Our guide, Christelle, was the highlight of our trip. Her extensive knowledge and evident passion for wildlife truly enriched our safari, transforming it into a magical adventure. We experienced great extra drives, pursuing the echoes of roaring lions and observing the serene beauty of a lounging leopard. Fortune smiled upon us, allowing us to witness four different leopards, including a surprise visit from one during our sundowner drinks – a moment of sheer amazement especially for Christelle!!. The warmth and hospitality of Dave and Nikki made us feel like a part of the Nyala family. Their exceptional attention to detail in the dining experience, complemented by Shylet's service, elevated our stay.
