I enjoyed the unique experience. Using an outdoor bathroom was fun. Hardly any cellphone reception allowed our family to connect on a deeper level. It is a mind reset experience. House 53 it like a tree house that is a home away from home. It was well equipped and had lovely touches like mosquito nets, a pool table and an ice machine. The pillows, beds and couches were very comfortable and the towels were extra large and fluffy. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful and our host (Rudi and his family as well as Nomsa) were friendly, welcoming and made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back soon.

The best stay in Sodwana Bay Lodge, Sodwana Bay. Bongi is amazing, friendly, always smiling and super helpful. Everything is spacious!!! Large open plan living area, the lounge has a proper TV (rare find in Sodwana!!!), kitchen has everything you could possibly need, large bedrooms and bathrooms with showers large enought to fit a family of 5, outside shower with large basin for easy wetsuite rinses. Its the perfect spot for any top Sodwana Bay holiday - your wife and mother in-law will be very happy too!!!

The host is the best - helped out with everything. Gave great tips on what to do and even rent out some biles. On top of all of that he fixed our tires two times for free. The dogs are very cute and well behaved. Always open for great cuddle time. :)

Communication was easy and warm, and he handled everything with professionalism and a personal touch. The lodge itself is cozy, clean, and perfectly located — close to everything, yet peaceful enough to feel like a relaxing retreat. You can tell a lot of heart has gone into making the space feel inviting and comfortable. The little touches throughout the place really made it feel like a home away from home.
