Stayed here for two nights during our trip to see family, the host Sue was just lovely. We felt so welcome and looked after, but also given space and privacy, which was just what we needed for our little getaway. The view from Chalet 3 is divine, sitting with a coffee in the mornings and looking at the river was just wonderful. And the bed was super comfy, the shower had really good hot water, the attacked self-catering kitchen was a real bonus. Just loved it.

We had the pleasure of staying at a truly stunning property. The attention to detail throughout the space was out of this world, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The view, the gardens, the pool. We stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. It was so relaxing and peaceful. There are nice places to sit in the garden and watch the view. Really comfy bed. John is very helpful and accommodating.

Staff were outstanding, breakfast included was top-notch & personalized. Doggies were an added bonus, made it feel like a home away from home. Room was comfortable (Elephant room) and there were lots of options to stay warm in what is known to be a cold area - gas heaters, electric blankets, wall heaters etc. Safe and secure parking behind a gate. Cannot recommend this place enough!
