On check-in, the staff welcomed us warmly. The lodge is clean, staff has good attitude, and willing to help us. We just felt at home. The room was exactly what we booked, spacious room, bathroom and the patio. Most days of our stay, it was raining, so we couldn’t do outdoor activities, they had. But they helped us book for a spa massage, we appreciated that. The staff made my birthday special, so grateful ☺️ our stay included half board, they accommodated our dietary restrictions, food was delicious 🤤.

I had a great stay at Woodpeckers Guest House. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. It’s in a good location and very peaceful. I’ll definitely come back again.

Host and staff are very helpful and friendly. The cottage was well equipped with a nice balcony and hot tub. The breakfast is excellent.

Everything came with ease. We did a self check-in as we arrived at night, the instructions received were very clear. The cottage was super clean, all the items we needed were provided, from kitchen equipment to utensils, a clear definition of a self catering cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well sized not to mention the bed, it was soooo comfortable I could've spent the whole weekend in bed if I didn't have activities booked. Situated in a peaceful area with ease of access to shopping centers, doctors, etc. Bergdale Cottages deserves more than 10 stars in my opinion, everything was on point.
