Very neat and modern, has everything you need in a self catering unit. Was our second time here and will definitely be back for more! Dustin is exceptionally accomedating. Highly recommended venue and accommodation.

Blades has an authentic African feel without the usual cliches. It is only a short drive from Pretoria and near the Roodeplaat dam. The ambience is excellent, and the service is even better. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our steak and fillet dinner was terrific and well-presented. Our stay at Blades was the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

Everything Location,good food,lovely staff. beautiful lake and the place is stunning. From the reviews I read the lake did not stink, read before you book and complain it is not a self catering facility so stop complaining that you can not bring food in it says it on their website. I enjoyed not having to pack foods and let the hotel treat us. Great value for money.
