The garden is simply amazing. So is the pool area. It is stunning. I am not a fan of bigger hotels, however you immediately forget the fact that this is not a small boutique style place, when you enter the garden/pool area. I would love to come again.

Everything, the room was huge compared to the online photos it doesn't give it justice, it was very cozy room was extra comfortable and quiet, the attention to details goes along way as we were met with a warm welcome on arrival, staff are quiet professional and top notch service. Wished we could have stayed more. The resturants on-site had good food options as well which was great!

If I could give 20 as rate wouldn't be enough! I have never seen so much lush greenery so perfectly maintained! The gardens at The Cellar Hohenort are an absolute masterpiece—every corner feels like stepping into a dream. They are nothing short of incredible—warm, genuine, and so refreshingly down-to-earth. Their kindness made every moment of my stay unforgettable. Every aspect of this property exudes perfection, from the immaculate surroundings to the heartfelt service. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience that feels like a dream come to life. I can’t recommend The Cellar Hohenort enough—it’s a paradise I’ll never forget.

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Let me begin by saying the staff is exceptional: very friendly and professional. Rooms are nice and comfortable. We had a little terrace where we could eat our breakfast. Pool area is lovely and was never crowded (December). Pool is heated. Plenty of Champaigne going around ! It’s nested in a beautiful vineyards and a park so ideal to just go around and chill with our 2 yo old boy. Both restaurants on the premises are yummy. I had a massage at the hotel spa and that was very good too.

The location, the views and the proximity amenities. The stuff were very helpful, in fact the first day I landed at Cape Town my debit card was swallowed by the ATM and one of the stuff agreed to pay for my Uber as I had no money and I was to refund later. I was welcomed well, I stayed for five days and the stay was great. Daily house cleaning, communal kitchen that saves you money if you’re on a budget, the area is quiet yet you have everything you need around you including a mall and a train station. In fact I booked the residence because of all my choices, it’s the one that had the least negative remarks.
