We felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

Situato a Biscoitos, a 2 km da Praia dos Biscoitos, Casas do Morgadio è un alloggio con vista sul giardino. Very peaceful and spatious place, waking up to the sounds of birds chirping. Raquel was a great host and always available, we got an early check in. Very close to the Biscoitos pools and 20 mins by car from Angra.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.

Il proprietario ci ha accolto con una torta di mele e per “salutarci” l’ultima sera ci ha fatto trovare in camera altre due mele cotte al forno. Estremamente consigliato!
