Cosy and spacious. The cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Very close to the shops and restaurants. Great access to bike paths. It's just brilliant. Loved the biscuits for us and our fur friend plus lovely olive oil. Well done.

We had an amazing time here. Very close to town and the facilities were amazing. The house has everything you need and more. Super cosy even in winter and plenth of room for a big group.

    We loved how this cottage backed onto the river, was surrounded by trees and just beautiful views in every direction. Super cosy, we played games by the fire in the evenings, was everything we were after in a winter's getaway.

    The cottage was clean and well presented . Very comfortable king sized bed, spa bath and fireplace made our stay very enjoyable . Check in was easy with fire wood waiting and plunger coffee provided . Would definitely return to Ashwood cottages for another holiday

    The River Cottage reminded us of the movie The Holiday. So cosy, very clean, romantic and relaxing hearing the river sound at night. The owner Alistair was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely book for next year.

    The location was perfect as very close to the Bright township and to the walking trails along the Ovens river. The stone cottage was charming surrounded by beautiful gardens, very peaceful indeed. Very good space and facilities.
