Beautiful cottage. Perfectly presented. A truly charming vista over pristine, floral gardens on every side. Our hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. Lyn even hand delivered a beautiful flower arrangement from her garden, knowing we had guests visiting for lunch.

Absolutely loved this place! Stayed over the new years period. The host was amazing! The place was so clean & such a great place to go with family or friends. The pool was amazing, the place was amazing overall! My partner had also left her camera & they delivered it back to us! Extremely grateful!

Absolutely beautiful weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend The Farm Stay on the River to anyone looking for something for everyone. From the outdoor spa and fire. Trampoline and swings, your own little wharf to fish or throw in a stand up paddle board, rods and sups provided. The cows came right up to the fence, kids loved it. The house was very clean and has everything you need with plenty of space. Comfy beds. Easy check in and communication with owner, thank you Saxon.

    Large rooms & comfy bed, tho a bit cold due to central heating being out of order but small heater did suffice. Didn't hear much of traffic noise. Should describe place as a cottage rather than an apartment. Outdoor condition did not bother us; after all we were only there for an overnight stay.

    I made a mistake with the door code and the lovely owner actually came to the property and helped out. She was super friendly and lovely. The property is lovely and well stocked. Ignore the original exterior ... step inside to a cozy place with everything you need for a comfy stay. We will definitely stay there again.

    What appeared to be a rather run down cottage had in fact been renovated internally to a good standard. Everything we needed was in place and almost new.Only glitch was operating the hot plate but Summer came and sorted that out.
