The staff were so friendly, the view was beautiful and the whole place in general was so cozy and had an ancient chinese feel to it which I loved! So nice that there was a pool as well since it is very hot outside, and the pool temperature was perfect! The noodles breakfast was delicious! Everything was perfect!

The staff are amazing - nearly all of them speak some English and they are very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated in traditional Chinese style. The mattress on the bed was very comfortable. It was nice that they allowed us to keep the air con on even when we weren't there as it was a huge relief to come into a nice cool room after a day out in the heat. The food in the restaurant was very nice.

Beautiful ancient house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (equipped with electric blankets, which we appreciated in cold December!). Very warm welcome from the hosts, delicious food and a lot of activities available to discover the surroundings. We will be back!

Fabulous location. Beautiful house, marvellous garden. Perfect service. Always one or more English speaking staff. Very good breakfast. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was huge and so well equipped and nicely decorated, with an amazing view. Nice swimming pool. I regret we didn’t stay longer.

I would give this a 1000/10 rating if I could. I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.
