We enjoyed a two-night stay here, my wife, son and I. We love the rustic aesthetic of these kinds of wood cabins. This one seemed to have been built fairly recently, as all of the interior finishings were new. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We slept well. In the mornings the howler monkeys came passing through the mango trees around the property. The setting feels remote but it's only 5 minutes drive into town where there is everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy, bank, gas station, etc.. 15 minutes drive to Llanos de Cortes waterfalls for a swim or 25 minutes drive in the opposite direction to Miravalles Volcano. Wi-Fi worked well, host was helpful. All good!

The owner met us on site , very helpful . Gave us plenty of hints and tips about the property and surrounding area . Personal thermal plunge pool outside room was a relaxing touch.
