The whole set up- the room was gorgeous, the animals are so cute, from the kittens to the Donkeys, Cows and Horses etc, and the scenery was beautiful. Taking a walk on her property which we didn’t know about until we arrived but was a nice surprise. We ended up taking wedding photos on the grounds which came out amazing because of the scenery. It was exactly as pictured and advertised. Helle is a very nice host, and provided us with everything we needed, all the usual things included to very high standard. The Guesthouse is a train or bus ride away from Køge and no trouble to get to. The area is so nice so it’s a pleasurable walk.

An excellent place to stay, clean and comfortable. Super friendly and helpful host. The garden is amazing and the surroundings are stunning and peaceful. Children loved the pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. Definitely a place to spend your holiday.

The location was very convenient as we were visiting family for a wedding in Lejre. It was also close to the Viking Village and Roskilde where we visited the Cathedral and the Viking Ship museum. It was not far from Lejre train station where there is free parking and a train direct into Copenhagen. The Summerhouse was lovely and had everything needed, a real home from home.
