Beautiful villa in the heart of the village. Very nice owners. Mineral water at your disposal at all times. Big open spaces to enjoy as a family, and very nice and clean rooms to enjoy quiet times. The patio is charming.

The bungalow is basic with fans, running water, a toilet, a shower and a sink. Even a cooking area, if required. This is simple but adequate and traditional. Most importantly, it’s clean. The kind lady and her brother are both very helpful in offering advice and directions. She also organised our jungle trekking to see orangutans and the total price was slightly cheaper than elsewhere. No need to worry about being ripped-off. The jungle trekking was really excellent, very professional and the guides took good care of my children and me. Here at Magpie homestay, the lady’s cooking is excellent and the price is not expensive. Do try her food! I hope to return again next year. There is also a washing machine for washing laundry.

Jhonny and his family/crew are some of the warmest genuine people I have ever met, their level of customer service goes beyond anything I have ever experienced. Nothing was any problem and if there were any issues they were addressed immediately. The crew will look after all you needs from cooking delicious breakfasts to fabulous local lunch's and dinners from the extensive menu. The organised tours be it trekking/bat caves/local village tours are first rate, with a huge special mention to my "Jungle Brother" Rasta, who is not only a knowledgeable and great guide, but a fantastic and witty bloke and we shall remain friends via social media until our return. The accommodation is 5 stand alone huts which contain everything you need and a food/bar area, on three occasions in the week we were there an Orangutan dropped by for a visit (mind blowing) not to mention the 8+ we saw during our day trek with Rasta. Be ready to dive into adventure right from the moment you are met by host in the nearby village. A halfhour motorbike ride and a walk along riverbed and you are reaching a villa situated right in the midst of the jungle. If you are a nature lover like we are, don’t think twice - just book the place and enjoy the vacations. On other day we were guided by Byke and Fahid into the depths of jungle looking for orangutans, which were kindly enough to greet us from the trees on a stretched hand distance. All in all it was an excellent idea to book that place, don’t miss the opportunity to live amidst jungle comfortably.

Beautiful villa’s in a secluded garden and a very tranquil environment. The staff lead by Deddycool (Mr. Processing and leader of the band) is wonderful and serves great food all day long. Within walking distance are rice paddies, a botanical garden and the bat cave, worthwhile a visit. The team organised an unforgettable 2 day 1 night jungle trekking for us, with guides Tondi and Bamba. And all of this at reasonable pricing. We would love to come again!
