I spent two weeks at Lorenso Cottages on Bunaken Island, and it felt like home and family to me. There are accommodation options for every budget, the cottages are surrounded by a beautiful garden, and the beach is just a few steps away. They organize diving, and there’s snorkeling gear available. The reef nearby is absolutely stunning — so much to see! Meals are served three times a day, and the food is really good, so you don’t have to worry about anything. For me, this is the best place on the island. Everything was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. I really hope to come back one day!

Good for family or group of friends. Surrounded by beautiful nature with stunning view of mount Lokon. Unfortunately they don't come to clean the rubbish bin every day and we have to refill the water ourselves. Facilities are good enough, only there is no cupboard to store the clothes.

We stayed four nights in one of the two beautiful bungalows in the lovely garden of Jan‘s family home. Great hosts, clean and comfortable bungalows (western standard, most comfortable bed we have had in months!), delicious breakfast, Lokon volcano view, and fury friends (only outside the buildings) make this a perfect place to stay in Tomohon. Jan is happy to help you plan your trips / excursions and also drive you to sites, or you can rent a scooter from him.

The staff is amazing and the location on the island is perfect. you can just go in the sea and snorkel at the Reef wall where you can see turtles and beautiful coral!

Lovely, very big villa, nice sleepingrooms, good beds, Hot shower, friendly staff, perfect spot (you can easily walk to the city-center, around 10-15 minutes), beautiful garden, view on Lokon vulcano, nice breakfast with fresh fruit
