Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

This villa is right in the middle of nature, it has a fantastic view of the jungle and rice terraces. It’s just great to sit on the balcony and listen to the jungle noises. The manager here is fantastic he can help you to do what ever you want and is such a lovely person as well. We went on a walk with him around Tetebatu and it was brilliant, much better than Bali. We also did a tour round the craft makers and that was also excellent. There are some lovely warungs within walking distance too.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tony and his wife are the perfect hosts. They cooked a wonderful dinner & breakfast for us and they made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need, in an ideal location so close to the park. Tony also came with us for a 2h guided walk in the jungle to see the waterfalls. This was just perfect. We recommend Tony's place without any reservation !
