We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Nunamkhalu Villa and Spa. Everything was in place for a perfect holiday: The villas are stunning, spacious, and impeccably maintained, with a private pool that’s ideal for relaxing. A charming little touch: every evening, a tokay gecko would sing us a unique melody, adding a magical feel to our nights! The cleanliness is spotless, and the peaceful location, while still close to Nusa Dua, makes it the perfect place to unwind. It’s a true haven of tranquility. But what really makes the difference is the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. The service was absolutely flawless. They went above and beyond to assist us, especially when my wife needed to go to the hospital. Their support and advice during that time were invaluable. The massages were excellent, delivered with great professionalism, and the food was delicious — both the hearty breakfasts and the dinners served in the villa. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and warmly welcoming stay. Nunamkhalu Villa and Spa is a truly special experience.

I stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, the villa was beautiful and peaceful. What I really appreciated was how responsive the staff were — on the first night, the electricity tripped but they came to fix it within minutes. On the second day, water went out, and again they responded fast. But the most unforgettable moment was during checkout — my Gocar was delayed due to traffic, and Pak Ketut + his team personally helped carry our 2 big luggages on motorbikes to the next villa (2km away) — in the rain! And they stayed until we finished checking in. Super kind, super helpful. 10/10 for service.

We loved everything about our stay. The villa (no.2) is very spacious, and looks exactly like in the pictures. The two bedrooms, bathrooms and closets as well als the amazing sofa area and kitchen are super cozy, clean and well equipped. The pool and terrace were super clean and made the stay even more prefect. Check in and communication was super fast and easy. Although breakfast is not included you have many options, stay in and order or walk 3 minutes to the next cafe/bakery. The location is in a 5 minute walking distance from Hatch Sunday market (take the small path next to the Melrose sign on the left) and a 20 minute walk from Padang Padang beach. We loved everything about it. Details like unlimited fresh drinking water or a washing machine differentiate Melrose from other places. 10/10 would recommend coming here, it is very much worth it!

We had a very nice stay! Rooms: The rooms are very nice and clean. You have your own pool. The bed is comfortable (but it might help to bring your sleep mask with you). They have a water dispenser which was very helpful. You can make your own coffee in the morning, as there is a little kitchen outside. Staff: The staff is also very friendly and will help you via WhatsApp at short notice in case of any issues. Location: With a scooter, you are able to visit many places in southern Uluwatu within a few minutes. It takes 45-60 minutes to the airport. Price: The price is higher than for other hotels/villas on Bali. All of our other accommodations were less expensive. However, the quality of this accommodation is also very high!
