You definitely need a car to get around, but it’s only a 5 minute drive into Clonakilty. The grounds are beautiful for a walk around. I can imagine that it is even more beautiful in the summer. The cottage itself was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything you could need. Was also very nice to have use of the hot tub and sauna when you booked. I’d say it is even more beautiful in summer when the pool is in use and you can sit out. About a 10-15min drive from Clonakilty and 35min from Kinsale. Loads of on-site parking.
