As an Irish family returning home after 20 years abroad, your beautiful country-style home on the Main Street was the perfect place for us to reconnect with Ireland. The location was ideal, offering both peace and convenience, and it was the perfect base for our adventures. Our two Australian kids absolutely loved the coziness of the house. It wasn’t just another rental—it truly felt like a home, full of warmth and character. From the welcoming touches to the comfort of the space, we felt so at ease and well looked after. The house provided us with a sense of tranquility that was much needed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in Donegal. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. I loved the whole experience at the hilltop my favourite part was the hot tub. We went for my partners birthday and the host set up banners and balloons and a bottle of prosecco and chocolates. Best stay wev ever had anywhere. So relaxed and so private.

Very homey and close to the centre with bars, coffee shops and an Aldi in which we got some groceries and made a meal in the very functional kitchen. Two bathrooms so very handy with a family. The staircase down was steep but once you were use to it it was no issue. Patricia was easily contactable and instructions clear on entry and leaving. Some basic staples in kitchen which was very handy. Lovely little garden at back but too wet for us to use. We loved our stay and will recommend Faye’s Place to others.

Great location. Fantastic property. Very comfy bed and immaculately clean. Very well equipped accommodation. Free parking. Sarah Jane was lovely, she left us in fresh bread, milk and cereals. Only a 5 minute walk into bars and restaurants. Will definitely be back.
