We loved staying at the apartment, Mario and his Family are excellent hosts, very helpful and friendly. The apartment is located a bit outside of Forio centre in a rather quiet Road, a couple nice Restaurants, two Supermarkets, Beach, Pharmacy, Beach- and Newspaper shop and a nice Bar are within short walking distance, so are the wonderful botanical Gardens. There is a nice equiped Kitchen, three Bedrooms with comfortable beds, two bathrooms and, last but not least a big and wonderful terrace with views from the Sea to Monte Epomeo and back again! The bus stop is just 5min away, the public transport (Bus service) in Ischia is very good, so there's no need to compete with local traffic ;-). If you want to walk to the city centre of Forio, there's a approx 20min walk, leading alongside the Beaches (and a lot of Restaurants) - do this at the beginning of the Sun setting and you will be rewarded with a wonderful sunset! Once again thanks a lot to Mario & Family for providing this Gem and for being wonderful hosts - Mille Grazie!

Amazing Villa with Stunning Views and great hosts! We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this private villa in Ischia, and we cannot recommend it enough! The views are absolutely breathtaking—whether you're enjoying a meal outside or lounging by the beautiful pool, you're treated to surreal panoramas of the sea, with sunsets that seem to stretch on forever. The atmosphere is peaceful, surrounded by nature, offering a true escape from everyday life. The location is perfect—just a short drive to some of the best restaurants in Forio, and only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. There’s also a supermarket conveniently located a minute away by car. Although the road leading up to the villa is narrow, it's a short distance, and renting a small Fiat or scooter makes navigating it a breeze. Once you're there, you'll enjoy the security of private, gated parking. If you're looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Ischia, don’t hesitate to book this villa. The property is on a hill and has commanding views of the Mediterranean sea. It faces west and so gets a beautiful view of the sunset. It is a 20 minute walk from Forio which too is absolutely beautiful. Maria the host was very welcoming and it is a loved property with lemons, tomatoes and basil growing in the garden. It is clear Maria has been collecting some of the decorations for years and has great style, it felt very authentic and we loved it. The garden is the real highlight of this property but from the pictures was worried that it would be a shared space however we had it all to ourselves. We are dying to come back to Ischia next year and will definitely be looking to stay with Maria at her villa again. 10/10!! Grazie Mille Maria! James

A beautiful, airy villa in an ideal location, within easy reach of great local restaurants and 20 minutes walk to Forio, but in a quiet spot. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind.
