Cottages in Port Antonio

Location is fabulous. In the heart of the most beautiful parish in Jamaica - green and lush Portland. Frenchman's Cove, Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay Jerk are minutes away. (Don't forget the exceptional rafting on the Rio Grande). Close by and nestled on the edge of its beautiful bay, is Port Antonio a town with a real mellow and welcoming vibe. So much to see. Ask around for 'Rock Bottom' and he'll give you the best deals on authentic carvings. Spicy Hill and it's substantial garden is surrounded by a festival of tropical trees and climbers. Great amenities, everything you could ask for. A soothing and restorative tropical treat for the soul. The staff were amazing. Maestro Denny, brilliantly cooked up any traditional dishes we asked for - a tropical treat for the tastebuds. Very helpful for all our needs - escorting us to the market, recommendations, booking stuff, sorting out any travel issues. Literally nothing was a problem. Keith - attentive, helpful, softly-spoken, always smiling, a lovely character - even fixed a wheel on a suitcase! Karen - discreetly keeps the place tidy and clean and a welcome place to return home to after a day out in the sun. A humble character and a beautiful soul. We had the most amazing time, all 7 of us - every day laughter and fun and experiencing something new and different. Richard - you have a great crew there, hold onto them. I can't recommend Spicy and this unspoilt corner enough! Appreciation sent from Richard, Carmen, Ni, Maxwell, Joely, Rachel and Scotty.

I recently visited Jamaica for a funeral and was very lucky to find this villa just 20minutes away from where our family lives. The hosts upon arrival left a card inside sending wishes to me and my family for our recent lost one, which really meant a lot. In addition to this we checked in on the day of the funeral and they were extremely accommodating to our late arrival. Communication before after and during was faultless and the villa was perfect. They had also left a variety of drinks and snacks/breakfast food which we didn’t expect but really appreciated as we of course didn’t have the time to food shop prior to check-in. It’s a beautiful house in an even more beautiful country, both hosts are welcoming and I wish you nothing but success. We felt very honoured to be one of your first guests!

Our return visit was every bit as good as last year's. Fantastic view, lovely deck, greenery all around. Cee is helpful as always. The place exactly fits what we wish for a relaxed, quiet stay in real Jamaica. Thank you.

Nice and quiet location. As ever with Booking.com the precise location is incorrect on your map. Consequently we used the useful photo of the outside of the property to identify it. The correct location is 18.112555, -76.320124. Reached after turning left off a short drive that leads to a neighbour's house. Park on the street at 18.112696, -76.319923. The amazing view from the villa, nearby beaches, lots of different birds to spot (e.g. hummingbirds), the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
