I made the best choice in booking Summerhouse for a weekend stay with my wife and 5 month old son! The couple, villa owners, are very nice, friendly, pleasant, and were extremely accommodating, especially to make our stay more comfortable with the little one. It’s so close to Colombo, and really is a place to get away from city living. The villa was oozing with charm… it was clean and well equipped with everything to make a very private, comfortable and enjoyable stay. And since it’s located within a larger housing scheme, we also able to use the pool and clubhouse as well, which was quite neat and also safe. Overall we loved our weekend at Summerhouse! Would definitely recommend it to friends and family! ☺️

The accomodation is surrounded by a small green park, the location is great and the room itself is beautiful! Its big, very clean and everything is new. The room smells fresh. The bathroom is spacious, with shampoo, body wash, towels and even toothbrushes and toothpaste! The bed is super comfortable and there is a kettle with some tea and coffee to use. Overall the room is very well equipped for every need you may have. We really enjoyed our stay and can't recommend the villa enough. It is really really clean! Thank you again!

very conveniently located and only ten mins drive from the Airport. very welcoming hosts and provided a delicious Srilankan breakfast. its a upper floor apartment which has few steps to climb up with the heavy bags but host very kindly helped to carry them over. Very spacious apartment with a living room and good size Air conditioned bed room. bathroom is clean and has hot showers.

I stayed at the property with my two kids during our brief holiday in Srilanka. The place is cozy , clean, equipped with all necessary goods and all other facilities(banks , supermarkets , shops) in close proximity . Perfect for a home stay and kids friendly too . I arrived at Astig Villa after what turned into a long journey from Arugam Bay – a ride that should have taken 4.5 hours stretched to 9.5, and by the time I arrived it was already night. The staff welcomed me so warmly and even prepared dinner for me, which was such a relief after a difficult day of travel. I had been travelling around Sri Lanka for two weeks, and staying here was exactly what I needed – a chance to relax by the beautiful pool and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff looked after me so well, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the owner was always available if I needed anything. He even organised a tuk tuk to take me into town, which was especially helpful in an area I wasn’t yet familiar with. What makes Astig Villa so special is the personal touch – it feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel. I’d especially recommend it to anyone flying into Sri Lanka late at night, as it’s very close to the airport, and the nearby lagoon is a beautiful spot to watch the fishermen go by. Whether you’re starting or ending your Sri Lankan journey, this is the perfect place to stay.

Absolutely amazing time during out vacation. The owner is so kind and he made sure that we got everything we need. He recommended us wonderful restaurant and organised trips. Villa has good vibes, it's clean and beds are comfortable. I can really recommend it, if I will ever come back to Sri Lanka, for sure I will stay there.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the beach is just a short walk away, which was super convenient, The pool was well-maintained and clean, and surrounded by trees and greenery, it felt like a private and peaceful location. It’s quiet and beautiful place for relaxing.

    We loved our stay at this cozy place It was near to the airport and the beach and all the facilities like restaurants, supermarket,pharmacy etc We would definitely recommend this property We had loads of requests since we were traveling with a 2 year old and a 6 year old.. Padmi and Chandima was very helpful, they are great hosts We really enjoyed our stay, thank you both Cheers
