We were in this house in July. There were four of us adults and a dog. A huge plus that you can bring animals. We were absolutely delighted. Despite the fact that in the photo the rooms look a little bigger than they actually are, the second floor and terrace completely compensate for the small sleeping areas. The owner also provides a boat and there are two canoes near the house that you can use, which is also a huge plus. From the house to the fjord on foot from 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the speed of the person, the place is very quiet and calm. Communication with the owner is also at its best, all the questions that we had during our stay and the country, the owner was always in touch and was happy to help. We were incredibly pleased and can only recommend.

Fantastic location on side of fjord. Very modern and comfortable interior. Lovely outside seating although we only used it one day due to the weather. Good area to explore. Arendal is only a few minutes away by car and has lots of shops and restaurants. We also used the historic passenger ferry which only takes 6 minutes and runs all day late into the evening but is a pleasant 30 minute walk from the boat house. The host, Arild met us on arrival to show us where to park and show us the property.

This is so worth the money if you love travelling somewhere in the wild and have a private place to relax and enjoy all the nature around you. This place is older and has that beautiful cabin look. It has a tv and everything a cabin needs. Awesome stay! Even though it has an "outside toilet" that is inside and looks like a normal bathroom it doesn't smell bad at all! This is a place I found to love. There is lots of beautiful places to walk. I would love to stay here longer. The owner or owners is super nice and helpful and so nice to talk to! We could use boats and fishing rods for free and we had a super nice stay. It's quiet but still not too far away from Kristiansand. Nature around here is beautiful

The owners were really helpfull. Our dog hurt himself during a hike and they helped us to find a vet nearby. We could charge our car at the cabin as well. If we're back in the same area, we will definitely come back.
