Gorgeous cabin with great view, surrounded by beautiful nature. We highly recommend it. It was perfect for a late October getaway in autumn's gorgeous foliage. We recommend downloading a hiking/trekking app and going and discovering the surroundings on foot. Supermarkets and cafes are within minutes by car or bus. The bus stop is also very close to the cabin.

We loved the historic nature of the house and enjoyed hearing its story from Terje. The proximity of the woodland and a lake added to the enchantment as well as the kindness of our hosts. Having a car would be an advantage as the nearest public transport is the metro which is a mile away downhill.

The house was spacious and tastefully furnished, with a lovely balcony surrounded by blooming lilacs. Our kids especially loved the box of LEGO! The bus stop was right outside the house, and a shop was just a short walk away—super convenient!

The house has a great view over the fjord and is located in a very quiet area. It's very conveniently connected to Oslo by bus and ferry. The house itself had everything we needed, it was beautiful and the hosts were most welcoming. We would recommend everyone to stay and would love to return one day!
