I loved staying in the middle of Patan, high up overlooking the temple roofs and the valley. The hosts were very attentive and kind. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, with a touch of traditional style. They had great wifi and a battery for powercuts which allowed to work online comfortably.

The resort is lovely, the staff if super kind and amazing, food is beyond words, since the veggies are all grown in the farm itself and the chef cooks them up wonderfully. I loved everything about Joy Source - the delicious organic food, the stunning views, the birdsong, the atelier, the peace, the spirituality and the beautifully designed accommodation. However what really made this place so special were the people in the community. They are some of the kindest most loving people I have ever met. The cottages were so beautiful and perfectly cozy. very clean. the staff were most helpful and kind. they helped us get taxis into the city center and made recommendations for what we should do. the breakfast is amaaazing. we looked forward to it every morning. WiFi was strong. I would recommend anyone visiting Kathmandu to stay here!
