My recent stay at Canyon Guest House in Jabal Shams was nothing short of fantastic. Having previously visited Jabal Shams and stayed elsewhere, I was eager to try this highly-rated option, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the area. It's conveniently situated, making it easy to access the various hiking trails and viewpoints that Jabal Shams has to offer. Being close to Al Hamra Village is also a plus for picking up any necessities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite after a day of hiking. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is essential when you're tackling the mountain trails. While I didn't use all the facilities, the guesthouse offered a range of amenities that added to the overall experience. Mr. Ahmed Al Khatri makes sure everything went perfect for us ❤️ The host Roshan was extremely supportive. We are coming back soon and every visit in Jabal Shamas we will stay on this place only because it worth every single moment you spend 😍 Thanks alot for your hospitality Mr.Ahmed Al Khatri. 🙏

When we arrived at the property the owner was already waiting for us with the keys. He was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Asked us how much water needs to be filled in the swimming pool so that the kids are comfortable. The property was so green, mango trees were filled with ripe mangoes, banana trees, date trees and to add it up it was raining which made it more magical. The property was clean, impeccable and the fridge had mangoes and dates for us. Even the kitchen is filled with utensils so for a family you are not far away from your home

At first we couldn't find it. But after a phonecall to the number at the bookingreservation, we received the right address. The host was humble, very friendly and we felt really welcome there. It’s a lovely place just on the canyon jebel shams and right at the balcony walk. The room is clean with big windows . The terrace is amazing overlooking the canyon. The host Ali and his wife live just behind and are very kind. They make dinner and breakfast on request ans serve it either in the guest room in their home or on the terrace. We had so much fun chatting with Ali’s family in the evening. Lovely local people . Thanks

Beautiful, extremely well equipped and seemed brand new house that was spacious and super clean. 100m from start of Balcony Walk. They could provide Omani breakfast. Sunset views were stunning.
