There are not enough stars, no number big enough to rate properly the stay we had at Gert and Janice’s. The little and charming stone house in their garden is just simply amazing, with all the confort needed and great accommodations. The location, on the top of the hill offers great views on the sea and on Mantigue Island below. It also has a cooler climate, which felt really nice in a journey in the Philippines where it can be really hot sometimes. A true oasis of the Camiguin heights. But most of all, our hosts were the nicest, very kind, considerate and lovely. We really enjoyed spending time with them. The breakfasts were the best meals we had in the country so far, after a month and a half traveling around. Everything is fresh and comes from their own garden or nearby, so they can make sure of the origin and healthiness of their products, and it is of course delicious, very well prepared by the couple. We extended our stay, and still were sorry to leave. They made our stay in Camiguin simply unbelievable and unforgettable. We couldn’t be more grateful for their welcome, and simply to have met such nice people in a paradise place.

I had a delightful time in the resort. It is a rather small resort with a few rooms and an amazing restaurant, which seems to be the core of the business. Our cottage faced the sea with a spacious bathroom and an amazing rooftop with a bathtub ( that was my favourite part! ). The beach is just outside the fence. We were picked up from the airport on our arrival. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I believe the resort's main attraction is its restaurant, which attracts visitors from the whole island. It is rarely empty. They're specialized in Vietnamese cuisine with some Filipino influence. The food was brilliant. I highly recommend staying there!

No issue with the facilities despite of the electric interruption in the municipaliity , our stay was still perfect as it is equipped with solar panels. Price. The house is wonderful. The huge terrace has amazing views over the palm tree and the see. There is a very confortable futon bed and a bank with coushions where we layed to see the sunset. It has an open air toilet, The floor and furniture are made of wood. The place is very peaceful, beautiful and confortable. The doble bed is confortable and there is an open kitchen-dinning room. We felt so comfortable there that we decided to buy some fruits, eggs and bread and had a lovely breakfast there every day, enjoying the views, the nature, no neighbors.... Vincenzo, the Italian owner, is a very kind person. He lives very near and took care of everything we needed. He picked us from airport and organized our scoter to rent. We garantee you will love the place. Only 2 minuts from town with the scooter, it was a great choice. Best place to stay in Camiguin Island. Thank you for your hospitality Vincenzo. 🙏😘
