Cottages in Jastrzębiec

Nice cozy location with a lake, beautiful nature, table tennis, supermarkets very close to reach by car. A comfortable kitchen with all utensils needed, friendly staff. The room with bathroom was also comfortable and equipped with everything needed.

The house as promised, well maintained an clean, ac, warm water.

The Haus am Fluss was one of my best Booking stay experiences over the years. The region is absolutely breathtaking - full of nature, animals and peace. The house was in itself worth the stay: the old furtniture (but kept very well), the century-old metal pieces, the unique charm, the spaciousness, sun through the windows and the warmth of the interior colors mixed with the camine and the family's own paintings on the wall made my stay very special. Petra was always available, waited for me on arrival, gave useful information for my bike tour/route, and even had "orientation material" available for me to make the best possible experience despite the fact that I could only stay a single night. Thank you! I will definitely go back :) And I warmly recommend the accomodation to everyone else!

I felt here like I was on vacation with my parents 20 years ago. Homely atmosphere, like a youth camp. It was really cool!

Unfortunately, our stay was full of very unpleasant surprises: the basic living conditions like running water, electrify and phone connections were either completely absent or not functioning properly. So it wasn’t just unpleasant, it was pretty much impossible to live in this house. The fuses blew each time someone was using the heating and running water or two sources of electricity in general. So it was impossible to shower and heat the house - it is quite cold at night in May so we had to use the heating. But the heating had to be turned off once somebody wanted just wash the hands or a cup or even use the toilet. Worse was the fact that we found out about it only in the evening, when it was already quite cold. We didn’t know about the poor electricity and fuses so we spend about 1,5 hour with no running water, no possibility to use the toilet or even get warm - we waited for the solution of the owner of the house who called his neighbours to help. The fuses blew about 8-10 times a day next days since we needed to shower and use the dishwasher or shower and charge our phones. The electricity is apparently so poorly done in this house that using 2-3 or more electrical consumers would just blow the fuses. Not speaking about the fact that the fuses were located outside the house’s garden, behind the fence. It is a dangerous experience for a woman to go turn on the fuses at night because somebody forgot to turn off the heating before showering…. The tap water had the worst quality and was not only unsafe to drink, but also impossible to shower with - it was very stinky so after shower one would have this stink on one’s skin and in hair. Since we didn’t know about the poor water quality - we come from Germany where the tap water is usually safe to drink - we had to drive to the nearest shop 30 min car drive away to just buy lots of drinking water.

View was the best. You’re just couple of meters from the water. Flat is nicely designed and very comfortable. It’s our second stay there, I hope not the last. Very good contact with the owner. Very family friendly atmosphere.

Little gem hidden in the beautiful Polish countryside. Lovely house, well decorated and fully equipped. Very comfortable beds. Peace and tranquility. Friendly hosts. Couldn’t wish for more!
